What can I say? Am I surprised? Absolutely not? Am I happy? Actually, extremely. David Ortiz is a big piece of sh*t. He went from being a backup scrubbini in Minnesota, to leading the Sox to their first championship in nearly a decade, while hitting 27 homers from July on. No one gets that good, that fast, except a lying, cheating, obnoxious, egotistical piece of garbage.
Ortiz has always been one of the league’s biggest advocates for cracking down on steroid users. Oh the irony. When A-Roid, and the female fertility drug user player formally known as Manny, were linked to steroids, Ortiz berated them in the media like there was no tomorrow. During one conference, Big Deuche was quoted saying the following: “I think you clean up the game by testing… You test positive, you’re going to be out. Period.” What a hypocrite.
I think baseball should implement what I will be calling the Ortiz Rule immediately, and it’s first victim should be none other than Big Papi himself. That’ll teach players not only to not take steroids, but also to not to go off and run their mouths like idiots.
