I can tell you, I have never had as many problems with a phone as I have had with the Blackberry Tour 9630. This is the 4th time I have to have it replaced, so it is now my 5th phone. (Well, it will be tomorrow when it shipped here. There were no replacement phones available in any VZW stores in the ENTIRE Philadelphia area (about 40 miles around the city.)
I have had multiple problems with not only the phone but also Verizon. This has led to multiple replacements of the phone since it has not been working for multiple times. Now, the phone won’t boot and I can’t reinstall the OS. It has a “Reload Software 552″ error, but when attempting to reinstall the OS, I get a fatal error from the DM and an unspecified error from the Apploader. Any hints on how to tackle this?
Here’s my list of things to NEVER do on the Blackberry Tour 9630
5. Install programs that are not from well-repudiated sources.
4. Install cracked or hacked programs to your phone.
3. Backup and restore your programs when you are using the Apploader to remove programs from your Blackberry at the same time.
2. Install lots of extra programs that are unnecessary.
1. Delete a program directly from your Blackberry without doing it through the Desktop Manager.
