Davey, Davey, Davey…. What have you gotten yourself into this time? Will this be your final week in office?

David Paterson may be the next New York governor to resign due to a sex scandal. We might as well change the nickname of New York, the Empire State, to the Hooker Loving Governor State. Or something of that nature….

Early this past weekend, I heard some rumors about a bombshell article that the NY Times was supposed to release early this week. The rumor was that David Paterson, our esteemed governor, was bringing prostitutes to the governor’s mansion. Mrs. Paterson discovered her husband’s fond obsession with the hookers, and decided to rat him out to the newspapers. Now I heard two other things as well, which conflict with each other. One was that Paterson was using State Troopers to bring the prostitutes to the governor’s mansion. Were they letting these hookers off in exchange for services rendered to the governor? We shall find out. The other thing I heard was that the State Troopers found out that Paterson was bringing hookers into the mansion, and that’s why he banned them from entering the building?

If any of these rumors are true, Paterson’s career is over. Of course he’s denying all of this. Could you imagine if he ends up resigning? New York would be the laughing stock of the entire country.
