I think the writers have put to much time and effort in the show to just have it end poorly. Remember, they said they knew how the show would start and end before they wrote the full script for the pilot. The writers are too creative/intelligent/stubborn to have the show end where even a non-LOST viewer would be disappointed about the finale. Hopefully, we'll get several answers throughout the night and many more throughout the season. There are tons of questions left to be answered and some hopefully left up for us to argue over even after the series ends...(I am dreading that day) To add one more thing.. I'm pretty sure that Ben cannot kill Widmore b/c they're not on the island (or the Island isn't done with Widmore yet). Remember, in S4's "Meet Kevin johnson" Michael tried committing suicide multiple times, but couldn't die b/c he could only die within the island's radius (as the island needed him). Some questions... why is Walt special and why didn't he need to go back to the island again? (or Aaron?) Was the MIB in Christian's body also? Who are Ilana, Bramm, and company - and what is Lapidus a "candidate" for? and many more... One last thought... I really hope Faraday comes back... as an alive Faraday and not a reoccuring dead Faraday Further discussion on your theories…
