What happened in the Lost Season 6, the Final Season of Lost? If you have been watching, then you have definitely noticed some crazy stuff going on in the premiere of Lost, maybe crazier than before. If you want to hear about my theories about Lost Season 6, keep reading.
Season 6 starts off on a plane, the same first Oceanic Flight 815 that starts off the entire series. We see familiar characters, like Jack, and familiar scenes. But then, something happens. The plane doesn’t crash. They hit the turbulence and survive. Nothing happens. What is going on here?
All of a sudden you are transported back to the island where all of our favorite characters are – but nothing happened after the nuclear bomb! They are all still on the island! It didn’t work! So how can they be on the island and on the plane at the exact same time? It makes no sense. They get up after the bomb seemed to knock everyone out. How can this be possible?
The rest of the two episodes alternates back and forth between the plane and the island. On the plane, they land at LAX, Kate escapes from custody, Jack meets John Locke, Charlie tries to kill himself but Jack saves him and the characters are all becoming so familiarly intertwined. Its subtle but Jack seems to feel as if he knows several of them from before. In the beginning, we are taken to a scene of the island, but this time it is underwater.
On the island, they goto the temple to save Sayid. Jacob is dead, the fake John Locke knocks Richard out and is presumably taking him to the temple, Sawyer wants to leave because Juliet is dead, Juliet is dead, there are new people at the temple but no one really understands whats going on.
Maybe they are in alternate universes? Maybe this is all taking place at the same time just in two separate realities? Is that what Juliet means by her message, “It worked” for Sawyer through Miles? There could be two different universes or realities and in the end of the episode, whichever becomes the more dominant gets merged into the other, eliminating the “alternate” universe and leaving only the “real” or “true” universe. There are so many possibilities of what might happen. For now, I am going to stick with the Lost Alternate Universe theory.
What do you think? What are your theories about last nights episode? Let me know!
