Have you ever heard of the Blackberry Wallet? RIM released this program free to all Blackberry users. I just noticed this on the mobile Blackberry site, mobile.bb.com, a couple of days ago and decided to try it out. It actually seems like a really useful app for your phone. Blackberry Wallet can store all of your personal info and input into websites so that you do not have to type it. Keep reading to see my review of the Blackberry Wallet.
The Blackberry Wallet, after you enter your new password for it, allows you to enter certain personal information into it like your own information (address, phone #, etc…), credit card info, gift card info for certain websites, any login information you have for specific websites and applications, shipping address and something called a “loyalty card” which is just a reward card for whatever company/website you want to enter.
I typed in some of my info and set up the login for the blog. Unfortunately, I could not figure out how to get it to work. I tried to follow the instructions on how to use the blackberry wallet when making an online purchase. That didn’t work. I looked up the user manual online from the RIM website. That didn’t work either. In fact, that didn’t even say how to use the information you entered, just how to input it.
So basically, its a program that no one knows how to use. Its nice that it saves your info but what for? I have no idea. I can’t figure out how to get it to use saved credentials. Theres no options, theres no settings. There is nothing in the browser that I can figure out in the menu screen that helps you integrate it. The bottom line is that its a great program that doesn’t work. What do you think? Am I doing something wrong? Let me know!
