We all know that Lost is quickly coming to an end with this being its last season. What is going to happen at the end of Lost? What will be resolved and what questions will remain? What theories do you think will come true by the Lost series finale? Lost has provoked many, many theories about lots of different events in it; we have written a lot of theories of our own. Keep reading if you want to see what I think will happen by the end of Lost.

Lost is going to have a phenomenal series finale. At the end of 6 years, we hope that all of our questions will be answered. At this point, a lot of them already have been answered. But at the same time, when Lost answers questions, they also create new ones. This season has been no different. I think a bunch of things are going to happen by the end of the year.

I think that at least one of the main characters is going to die and its probably going to be Sawyer. Think about it, Sawyer already doesn’t have anything left to live for. He was in love with Juliette who is also dead and he doesn’t care what happens to him. He’s the perfect character to pick to be killed.

Whitmore is coming because he wants to take Jacob’s job. He is not a candidate like the others; he simply wants to take it by force as he has all along the entire series. Does he know about the smoke monster/Locke? Yes. He knows about it all. That’s why he personally came to the island this time.

Jack is going to be the one to take over for Jacob, for obvious reasons. I think Jacob has already picked him based on his little trek with Hugo to the lighthouse. He was supposed to blow up the lighthouse and was supposed to find Richard and convince him not to kill himself. He’s also going to stay behind when everyone else leaves the island. He alone.

Will Kate and Jack ever get back together? Sadly enough, I do not think so. I think that Kate has moved on from Jack. Unless something super-crazy happens in the next 10 or so episodes, I think that saga has come to an end. I do think that there will be romance at some point along this season but as always, Kate won’t be able to handle it.

What is going to happen of the smoke monster/Locke character? Well, I definitely do not think we are going to find out his real name. That will remain a mystery forever. I also don’t think that he will die, leaving the entire show open for a possible 7th season. I find it hard to believe that this story line will ever be truly closed.
