South Park Season 14 Episode 7 – Crippled Summer

After a great start to the 14th season of South Park, I can’t wait for episode 7 of South Park. Titled “Crippled Summer“, it places us in a documentary about Towelie, our friendly towel, and his drug addictions to marijuana, crystal meth and crack. Keep reading my review of the episode of South Park.
Tonight’s episode starts off with Towelie, the drug addicting towel. They started us off with a nice “viewer discreetion advised warning.” It appears they are goin to into a documentary mode about drug addictions. Then it starts to the monologues of the characters talking about him and how their town is going to hell whenever he shows up. Kyle and Stan talk about him and then Butters starts bursting out in tears because he doesn’t know if Towelie is going to kill himself.

They then put Towelie working in Camp Tardicaca as a job to help dry people off. Did I mention that it is a camp for handicapped children? He throws up on one of them, curses whenever he’s high, yells at everyone.

Everytime something happens, they cut to a black screen with ridiculous stuff. They keep bringing up the odds. Towelie is then caught sucking dick for coke. Awesome. It’s funny because they bring in contemporary topics, like “sniffing” computer dusters and compressed cans. The compressed gas gets you high.

The two guys on the red team are from some other episode but I must have missed it a few years ago.  In the Tardicaca camp. Mimbsy and the other guy at the Tardicaca camp  keep trying to kill Jimmy. The best part is the documentary cutting to the story text.

Anyway, the return to the intervention is the overall theme of today’s episode. Butters, Kyle, Stan, Cartman all share their feelings in gross detail. Of course, Cartman’s first and only line in about how the Jews are a bunch of beady eye thieves. In fact there is a commercial and they come back and he has an entire stack of papers as continues to go on about how the Jews are out for global domination. Butters whips out wash cloth, and Towelie breaks down in tears. He decides to go, and is shipped out to Palo Altos, CA. All is well, and he has been sober since… April 26th. Great ending to an awesome episode.
