Entourage Season 7 Episode 3 – Dramedy – Recap and Review

Tonight marks the airing of Entourage Season 7 Episode 3, named “Dramedy.” So far, Season 7 has been great, with a solid start in the first two episodes. Drama has nothing, Turtle has a new upstart escort business, Vince has everything of course, and E is now engaged to Sloane, who is always hot. Ari’s company is booming. What could tonight have in store? Keep reading my review and recap of tonight’s episode of Entourage, Dramedy.
The beginning of the episode started off great with the great dynamic between Turtle and Drama. But it quickly deteriorated as Ari’s marriage is deteriorating. Last week, when Ari’s wife saw Ari twirling the girl he works with, his wife freaked out and left and still appears to be overreacting. He was just happy but the wifey was not too happy because the girl was a slut and destroyed Ari’s best friend’s life. Eventually she quits and makes it her goal to sink Ari, all because Ari wouldn’t promote her due to his wife’s jealousy. B*tch.

Drama and E are trying to get Drama a job and Lloyd sets them up with this gay scriptwriter who hasn’t had a show published since 1991. Drama does want this guy and this guy doesn’t really want Drama either, and the sarcasm flows back and forth. Drama brings the script to Phil who loves it and finds John Stamos, of all people, to play the co-star position. Who would have thought two Full House characters on the same show? Not to mention that the show is going to be a comedy, something Drama doesn’t want to do.

Turtle’s meeting with Marvin didn’t go well. In fact, Turtle’s business is dying, which is something I did not expect since the whole first two episodes he was completely involved in the company. His business is going even further downhill when Turtle’s three workers walk out on him when he tells them he’s cutting their pay in half. Then, Turtle gets asked to come down to Mexico by the girl he tried to f*ck that worked for him. There is some sort of weird dynamic because they keep bringing her back in the show.

Scott Levin is trying to steal Vince from E. After he introduces him to Randall, he tries to set him up with a meeting by having Randall to call Scott. A whole bunch of more things go down and it looks like this is setting up the stage for a confrontation between Scott, E and Vince later in the season.

What a great ending – E pushes Scott into Vince’s new rare dinosaur head fossil that he just bought for more than $275,000 and breaks it. Awesome way to end the episode.

What’d you think? Solid episode? I think so.
