I have only been playing Starcraft 2 for a few hours but I love what I see already. After twelve years in the making, the first chapter in the saga of Starcraft 2 has been released. I ran over and picked it up straight from leaving the hospital. What are my first impressions? Keep reading my initial review of Starcraft 2 so far.
I played the first four missions in the campaign and I like what I see. While the first couple of missions were your typical learn how to use the interface missions, involving marines and the familiar hero, Jim Raynor. The graphics are pretty solid and even though it downgraded mine due to my video card (which is in the nVidia GT240 something), I reupped the settings and the game ran great with no slowdowns below 30 fps.
The difficulty system goes from Easy, Normal, Hard, Insane. Normal was too easy and Hard was too hard, so I found myself stuck at the fourth mission. I am probably going to have to re-do that mission starting on Normal because I just cannot beat the last part of the mission.
The interface is much, much different. Between missions, you can interact with your immediate environment, talk to people, inspect objects and more. You start off in a bar where Jim Raynor meets a new character. You can also select different missions so that the story doesn’t progress linearly.
I wish I had more time to play but I haven’t yet. I’ll write again later this week after I get to play a little bit more. Have you played it yet?

SC sequel is similar like original, there are no major changes. The graphics has been updated a few units added. Still, game is good and enjoyable. It reminds me on good old times.
