Today I finally saw Tosh.O for the first time on Comedy Central and I have to say that it really sucks. In 10 minutes, there was less comedy than watching 10 minutes of CSPAN. The humor was lame and sometimes racist. Tosh.O really sucks. Keep reading my review of Tosh.O.
The show is just very weirdly set up. He stands there and makes bad jokes about videos that play on a TV screen next to him.
The humor is at the level of a 13 year old’s level of humor and it just isn’t funny if you aren’t a retarded child. There are really stupid videos of people doing things that aren’t funny; for example, a video of a 16 yr old kid throwing himself against his bed repeatedly and screaming.
The jokes are so lame and just bland. His only jokes that are remotely funny are his racist jokes which even themselves are pretty lame. He doesn’t really have any material of his own and the videos that they produce for their own show are not funny either.
Don’t watch this show. Do you?

Daniel Tosh is an untalented, humorless idiot. This is the kind of show that is supposed to appeal to 19 year old crustal meth addicts that live in trailers between Arizona and Florida. Comedy Central has to come up with garbage sometimes to keep people watching – doesn’t matter who, they just need to sell advertising. Going from “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia” (which is one of the most hilarious shows ever) and having Tosh.O follow it is definitely a brain twister. You’re going from laughing hysterically to having some douche high school drop out talking over 8 year old youtube videos is an instant channel changer. They don’t pay for the videos, they obviously don’t have writers, and they probably pay Daniel Tosh in Urban Outfitter gift certificates so the show costs nothing to make. If you ignore it, it will go away. Just like Mind of Mencia.

The videos are funny, don’t mind a show that browses YouTube for me, but I swear, just watch the show and you won’t have one minute go by without some xenophobic comment come out of this idiot’s mouth. Also, if you’re going to bash someone for their spelling, you must first learn grammar. Regardless of whether or not you like the show, Tosh.0 is a show. It exists on television with a regular time slot on a network. It can be a good show, or an awful show, but writing “show” implies that you’re not entirely sure what a show is.
If you’re trying to be funny, putting the word ‘show’ in quotes doesn’t translate as well on a screen. Perhaps while using a sort of sarcastic, condescending voice while making quotes would make it marginally funnier, but in text it looks a bit… well… silly.
I completely disagree, the show is highly entertaining and hilarious at that. Of course his jokes are crude, he can be a douchebag, but he’s the funniest douchebag I’ve ever seen. People that don’t like Tosh.O are probably 30-40 year olds that want clean comedy. His jokes can be racial at times, but he doesn’t mean it. Tosh.O is a great show if you are open minded enough to enjoy it. Tosh does not claim to have great jokes nor does he claim that he is amazing and that is partially what makes it hilarious. As has been pointed out more often than not, the guy is dressed up like some wannabe-popular high school drop out whose only trick is making smart ass comments on youtube vids. That’s not exactly a funny format to start with, but it sinks to an absolute low once realizing they don’t surpass the level of cheap pot shots and predictable one-liners that cater to the kids that just puberty. I’m perhaps the only person in my age group who doesn’t find Tosh.0 “hilarious” (I’m 19). I find him crude, predictable and insipid. Just like everything else today comedy is going down hill. I guess that’s why I’m still watch & listen to 1960-1990 music, TV, and movies. There are few rare gems out there still but, you have to search really hard.
I don’t understand what’s hard about finding something simple also comical? Though his show at times can be very, very, bland there are also very, very, funny moments in his show. Also his stand-up specials are hilarious. If you are finding nearly everything in media to be callow and simple then you must be missing a vast amount of it.

I sampled episodes from seasons 1, 2, & 3 and found Tosh to be rather fake. When he speaks he’s ridgid, mechanical, and perfectly bland. The show setup is odd, to say the least. Most times I could predict the content of his comments which left nothing to keep me entertained. There may be potential for an awesome show, but from what I’ve seen, it is currently not worth my free time.
I just have one question, why the FUCK IS TOSH using its always sunny in philly’s theme in his skits?? and no credit? did comedy central really not pump enough money into this show to atleast hire a starving musician to make some horribly mediocore tunes rather than stealing sunny’s.

I am 14, I go through a daily basis on school hearing people in my class saying how good he is. I have watched this, and it’s terrible. The guy doesn’t even make up his own jokes, which already show’s how terrible the producers off this are.
