DroidFit is a solid product, albeit a free one, that provides much utility to the everyday gym rat. Anyone who is serious about lifting knows that carrying sh*t (such as a notebook, water bottles, gym bag, towels, etc) around in the gym is the last thing you want to do while working out. So when a product comes along that makes your life easier, you can’t be anything but happy. Click below to read my review of the Android app entitled DroidFit.
I found DroidFit while perusing the Android App Market. I wanted a free program that would help me keep track of my workout stats, and more importantly, keep me on track with my goals. DroidFit does an acceptable job of helping me achieve both tasks.
DroidFit has multiple functions. One function is that has a built in database with exercises for every body part. You click on the body part, and DroidFit provides a list of exercises for you. If you do not know how to perform a particular exercise, click on it, and a mini animation will show you what to do. This is a really helpful tool.
DroidFit also an exercise routine section. It breaks you week down into a 4 day split. Within each day, you can input your weights/reps as you perform them. DroidFit even has a built in timer to keep your breaks to a consistent rate. Eventually, you will be able to export all of your stats onto your computer, and will be able to analyze all of your progress.
There are several other smaller features built into DroidFit as well. Overall, the program runs relatively well. It’s slightly glitchy, but for the most part, considering the fact that it is free, it’s a must have application for frequent gym users.
Have you ever tried DroidFit? Do you know of any other Android based workout assistant applications?

I really like the Functionality but its soo buggy for Me, logging almost never works. So just use it to get ideas when i want to change my gym program
Yeah, it’s extremely buggy. Hopefully the next update will clean some of that code up. The logging, for the most part, works for me, and is a great replacement of the notebook and paper that I usually carry around.
