If you got Call of Duty: Black Ops, like I did, for the holidays, or purchased it yourself, you were probably looking forward to a new and improved multiplayer mode. Unfortunately, the same problems still exist in Black Ops multiplayer as they did in Modern Warfare 2. Call of Duty Black Ops multiplayer sucks until they fix the same problems with it that MW2 suffered from.
1. Spawning within Enemy Troops – The re-spawning, or spawning, still sucks horribly. Apparently there are supposed to be a few dedicated spawn areas and you won’t spawn outside of them. Unfortunately, you still spawn mere seconds away from enemy squads that mow you down. Every match I have played, there have been spawns where I was killed between 1 and 3 seconds after spawning because I had no opportunity to get away from the enemy troops that surrounded me. This was a huge problem in the first game and continues to be an issue.
2. Enemies spawn behind you – Again, the familiar problem of running past a room, then dying 10 seconds later when the enemy that just spawned there sneaks up behind you. This is another huge issue I had with MW2 that BO does not fix. It’s completely unrealistic and takes away from the multiplayer, making the game extremely frustrating to deal with. Do enemy troops often spawn behind our soldiers on the front line? It’s ridiculous and makes the game suck.
3. Throwing grenades halfway across the map – Everyone should have seen the famous video of the guy throwing grenades halfway across the map and constantly getting kills from youtube of Call of Duty MW2. The same problem, although not as excessive, exists in Call of Duty Black Ops. While that video was ridiculous, Black Ops is just frustrating because random grenade tosses from ridiculous distances still occur and kill you, which takes away from the gameplay.
These issues make this game extremely frustrating and unrewarding to play. I don’t know what you think about them, but let me know if I am being ridiculous or not.

COD BO fucking sucks! It freezes all the time and has tons of bugs. Now that they sold a billion dollars worth of the game, perhaps they could fix the fucking bugs. Assholes!!!
This game does blow. I do like SOME features like how there cant be 5 helicopters in the air at once, and the customization but everything else is terrible. This game lacks FUN which is what i look for in a video game. All this game is, is a stress causer. Like when i have a huge ass machine gun and I unload my whole clip into a guy who’s roughly 10 feet away and he taps me with 4-5 bullets from his silenced gun and I drop dead faster than the titanic. It was also pure bullshit when they were talking on preview videos about being able to buy the guns you want, because the only guns i think are good in the game are the famas and the commando and i cant get the commando until lvl 40 something. How is this balanced? How is it fair that some guy can rack up kills with an easy gun to use like the commando while im stuck getting owned trying to use the most shittiest default smg ever? I thought it was a good idea at first for them to have the killstreaks not count towards each other because i thought it would stop people from camping but NO. Everyone is such a little pussy on this game who hide in buildings the whole game. I usually end up being number 1 on my team even though im sucking because i seem to be the only one to have enough balls to step out in the open. Another issue is all the new equipment. ITS PURELY FOR CAMPERS. A camera, a motion sensor, and claymores. Why dident they get rid of claymores if they dident want people camping? It was such a waste of money. I like the call of duty formula but this one just blows on a whole new level. Im hoping modern warfare 3 isent as much of a let down as this was. I was so excited for black ops because i thought they would actually address the issues from modern warfare 2 but they made it worse. Ive had the game since release and I never play it. The only thing remotely interesting or fun is zombie mode which is fun until the host is being a little bitch and decides to leave mid game ruining your fun and making you start all the way back on wave 1. Treyarch in my eyes USED to be really good. I thought world at war was good, but this game clearly shows they cant handle modern combat. Its their first “Modern” game and its been their biggest failure yet.
Yup. The mechanics are bad. Poor hit detection. Lag problems/better connection wins. spwning is terrible. if there spawning were somehow fixed, I would prob enjoy the game more.
