Southland, after a rough start on network TV, has made it to the season finale of season 3. “Graduation Day” is the last episode planned for so far, and I hope they renew the show again. How are they going to end this season? Keep reading my review and recap of Southland Season 3 to find out how.
Nate’s killer has a warrant out for his arrest after he assaulted some random guy. May bring some closure to this on-going saga. When the cop goes to serve his warrant, he shoots the cop and tries to run away. Enough cops respond and he winds up getting shot. Sammy makes sure the last thing he hears before he dies is “Nate Marreta.” Justice for Nate? Or vengeance?
Sherman is on his last day of probation, which has been one of the central themes surrounding the show so far. Although he is still on probation with Sammy at the end, its a new probation, since he’s not technically a probie anymore.
Cooper could barely get up in the beginning of the episode out of bed due to his back. When Sherman chased down the guy from the van, Cooper couldn’t keep up. Sherman told him if he doesn’t get help, he is going to turn him in. He takes him to a medical detox place so he can get the back surgery he needs.
Tammy’s water broke with Sammy’s baby. Not sure how far along she is supposed to be in the pregnancy. Sammy gets to see the baby up close and I think it touches him.
Josie kind of flips out when she finds out that has been screwing her son. A little over the top I think and uncalled for.
Overall, a good ending to this season. This is just a little recap of what happened. Will it be renewed? Hopefully.
